Chateau Noyaux 2005
An excellent value Bordeaux wine from the fantastix 2005 vintage. Surprisingly smooth for a young French Cabernet Sauvignon and perfect with a roast dinner.
This is a wine designed to be drunk young, so don't keep it in your cellar longer than a year.
Kibble Hill 2005
This Australian Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend is incredibly fruity and easy to drink.
If you like Ribena then this is the alcholic equivalent and at under a fiver a bottle is a must have for any cellar.
White wine selection under £6 a bottle
Farnese Pinot Grigio 2006
This is an absolute bargain for Pinot Grigio lovers. The Farnese estate has an excellent reputation winning the Italian Winery award for the third year running in 2007.
This is a nice dry crisp wine, perfect for drinking on its own or with fish, seafood or poultry.
Estampilla Torrontes Sauvignon 2006
An Argentinian silver medal winner and a winning combination of spicy Argentinian Torrontes grapes and classic crisp, gooseberry like Sauvignon.
The result is a refreshing white wine that pairs well with light dishes.
